Where to Stay in Todos Santos – DownTown

When you stay downtown, you’ll be within easy walking distance of many shops, restaurants, art galleries, and historic houses.

Jesuit missionaries originally founded Todos Santos. Later, it became the center of a thriving sugar cane trade. So when you walk around town, you can see the remnants of old sugar mills, from crumbling ruins to re-purposed wrought iron.

1. Hacienda Todos Los Santos | luxury hotel

Hacienda Todos Los Santos is a lovely hotel with a rustic charm and a beautiful garden. 

Although it is right in downtown Todos Santos, it feels completely secluded. It is tranquil, clean, and comfortable… a perfect vacation getaway.

The hotel has an outdoor pool surrounded by lush plants. Each of the rooms comes equipped with all the amenities you could ask for, including a seating area, balcony or terrace, and an equipped kitchen or wet bar, Wifi, cable TV, a DVD player, and air-conditioning.

The private bathrooms have both a shower and a tub… in case you have a hankering for a luxurious evening bath.

Massages are also available.

Art galleries and restaurants are only a few minutes away, and San Pedro de las Palmas beach is a ten-minute drive from the hotel.

2. The Hotelito | luxury hotel

I stayed at The Hotelito for one night. It’s located between the town center and the beach but not exactly ON the beach. The hotel is adorable, the rooms are very tastefully decorated and equipped with fine linen and beautiful art pieces.

3. Villa Santa Cruz | luxury stay

Tucked along a quiet stretch of beach just outside Todos Santos, Villa Santa Cruz is a luxury boutique hotel where laid-back Baja vibes meet thoughtful elegance. 5. Gallo Azul | mid-range vacation rental

8. Villas La Mar | luxury vacation rental

Magnificent ocean views and incredible amenities await at this luxurious vacation rental property. Stay in your own studio villa on a hillside near a lagoon and a grove of towering palm trees.

If you’re looking for a budget hotel near the beach, consider the Todos Santos Hostel. This no-frills accommodation option boasts a warm and friendly vibe.

10. The Farm-house Casita | budget to mid-range vacation rental

Another lovely vacation rental near the beach is the Farmhouse Casita. This one-bedroom house is newly renovated. It is only a five-minute walk to La Pastora Beach and overlooks a working farm.

Todos Santos is definitely a car-friendly town. Unless you plan to limit your activities to the town center and nearby beaches, having your own vehicle is a must.

That way you can head off to all the great mountain biking, hiking, surfing, and wale-watching activities on the outskirts of Todos Santos.
